Covid 19

Patient and Staff Safety is Our Priority

At Inland Detox, our number one priority is keeping our patients and staff healthy and safe within our community. We take COVID-19 very seriously and ensure that the necessary precautions are being taken for everyone entering our facility.

We inform our staff constantly on any changes that are happening within our facility as well as any viruses, diseases or other health-related problems that could potentially impact them or our patients. We strive to provide impeccable standards of care to our patients which is why we stay proactive and have protocols in place to make sure disinfecting and sterilization of the facility is happening on a consistent basis.

Our Protocols While We are Open

Our facility is currently open with 24-hour staff, monitoring all current and new patients during pre-admissions and admissions to ensure everyone is healthy. Before entering the facility, everyone must have their temperature checked, have an antibody test, and be assessed for other common symptoms of COVID-19. Here are some of the common symptoms described:
  • Fever or chills
  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Cough
  • Runny nose or congestion
  • Sore throat
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Loss of taste or smell that is new
  • Headache
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
As we now know, people can have COVID-19 and be symptom-free, which is why testing is so important. By testing our new and/or existing patients, we can direct them to the right resources until they are virus-free and avoid exposing them to other people who are on our campus. We are happy to help anyone looking for addiction treatment help who is healthy and ready to change their lives in a positive way.

Virtual Services

Our facility is currently open and taking all the necessary measures to keep our patients, staff, and families safe at all times. If needed, clinicians are available virtually or through telehealth services to provide an even higher level of safety to our patients. Our entire staff has been professionally trained and is following strict guidelines including temperature checks as well as assessing every patient for possible COVID-19 symptoms. We are consisting cleaning our facility by disinfecting and sterilizing all surfaces.

Preventing COVID-19

Some prevention methods that our facility is taking to reduce the spread of germs and the COVID-19 virus include:

  1. Washing hands frequently, in warm/hot water for at least 20-30 seconds.
  2. Staying home if sick
  3. Maintaining a distance of at least 6 feet away from others
  4. Avoiding touching the face
  5. 5 Always covering coughs or sneezes (in elbows)
