Why Inland Detox for Tricare Approved Alcohol Detox?

Choosing the right detox facility when your substance of abuse is alcohol is very important. Withdrawals from alcohol dependence are dangerous. If you or a loved one has been using alcohol for an extended period of time in large quantities, withdrawal symptoms can include hypertension, seizures, delirium tremens and in some circumstances, death. That’s why it’s important to never quit alcohol cold-turkey.

Inland Detox is a Tricare approved, in-network provider of care that maintains years of experience safely treating alcohol withdrawal symptoms. Our sub-acute alcohol detox program is medically assisted, meaning, we have physicians and nurses on staff to monitor your withdrawals who are able to prescribe medications to safely taper you off of alcohol and avoid painful and life-threatening withdrawal symptoms.

There are many other reasons to choose Inland Detox for alcohol withdrawals. We aren’t just approved at the detox level of care with Tricare insurance, we are also approved as a long-term residential drug and alcohol rehab program where our clients can stay for 30, 60 or 90 days when they successfully complete our detox program. In addition, we are licensed to provide dual-diagnosis treatment and we maintain an Incidental Medical Services license (IMS).

Our dual diagnosis treatment approval means we are able to treat co-occurring mental health issues like depression, anxiety and PTSD and our IMS license means we can practice medicine on site for issues related to substance abuse disorders. This means our care team comes to you while you are in treatment and there’s no need to go off site for medical appointments or to meet with a mental health professional if needed.

The facility Inland Detox maintains in the rolling hills of Temecula, CA sits on 2.5 acres. The views are astonishing, and the house feels like a home. There’s a 2nd home on the property where some of our therapy sessions and activities take place. There’s a pool on-site and recreational facilities as well. May of our clients that come to us initially for only detox services plan on staying the course for 30, 60 or 90 days of residential treatment after successfully completing our detox program.

Our Location

What many of our past Tricare clients love about our location is that it is not in a hospital setting. In fact, our treatment location is in the rolling hills of Temecula set on 2.5 acres. There are both single and double occupancy rooms, a second home on the property where treatment takes place, a pool and recreational facilities. What we have found from other clients that have gone to treatment before is that hospital settings and commercial locations can make people feel uncomfortable but in a residential setting with a maximum of 6 clients, the experience at Inland Detox is much more like a home and not like a hospital or psychiatric facility.

We also make treatment convenient. With an Incidental Medical Services license, our medical and clinical practitioners come to you on our site. There’s no need for our client’s to be shuttled back and forth from our facility to third party providers of care.

Program Goals

The goal of our alcohol detox program is to safely, with medical assistance, taper people off of alcohol using prescription medications designed to minimize risks and withdrawal symptoms. Our detox program typically lasts 7 to 10 days. Before the completion of the detox program, our secondary goal is to help clients transition to a residential level of care. The good news is that those that successfully complete our detox program are eligible to continue at the residential level of care with us as well.

Program Costs

The cost of our alcohol detox program is largely covered by Tricare insurance less any applicable co-pays and deductibles. You can call Inland Detox at (888) 739-8296 any time to determine what these costs are. Fortunately, co-pays and deductibles with Tricare are typically very affordable.

What to Bring

Anyone coming to Inland Detox should bring enough clothes for a week, their personal grooming effects and a light jacket. In Southern California, it’s always pretty mild weather. There are laundry facilities on-site if you decide to stay for residential treatment, so you won’t need more than a week’s worth of clothes.

Some of the things you cannot bring are any over the counter medications or grooming products that contain alcohol or any other mind-altering substances. Refrain from brining hairspray, gel, cologne or perfume.

If you smoke, that’s ok. Inland Detox allows smoking in designated areas outside of the facility.
