Why Inland Detox for Tricare Approved Prescription Drug Detox?

More and more Americans are getting addicted to prescriptions drugs every year. Many of these prescription drugs were originally prescribed for the right reasons, namely for legitimate pain and anxiety. The majority of clients we treat for prescription drug addiction take opioids and benzodiazepines and Inland Detox knows how to medically address detoxing from these prescription drugs that many people have become addicted to.

Aside from our experience in treating prescription drug abuse, many people choose Inland Detox because we offer not only detox services, we are also Tricare approved and licensed for residential treatment, dual-diagnosis treatment and we maintain an Incidental Medical Services license. This means our Treatment Team can help our clients transition from detox and continue care at the residential level of care with us for 30, 60 or 90 days and we can help our clients with co-occurring mental health issues such as PTSD, depression and anxiety. The Incidental Medical Services license we hold means our medical and clinical staff are able to practice medicine related to substance abuse on site and we do not need to transport our clients to or from our facility to get the care they deserve. It’s all done in-house.

Aside from our licensure and excellent treatment team our location makes a big difference in our client’s lives. Inland Detox is not a hospital. It’s an executive level residential facility located on 2.5 acres in Temecula, CA. With incredible views, a pool, recreational facilities and a 2nd home where some of our treatment and activities take place, our facility feels more like a home than a cold, clinical setting.

Active duty military, reservists, their dependents, spouses and children that have Tricare insurance are all eligible for entry in to our program as well as Medal of Honor recipients, survivors and former spouses and those listed in DEERS, the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Enrollment System. Typically specking, the only costs not covered are co-pays, deductibles and incidentals which are typically very affordable.

What is Covered by Tricare?

Your Tricare insurance covers the cost of treatment, room and board and medications except for applicable co-pays, deductibles and incidentals like snack foods and cigarettes. You can find out exactly what your co-pay or deductible will be by calling Inland Detox direct at (888) 739-8296.

Our Treatment Team

Our Treatment Team consists of a Medical Director that’s a Board Certified Psychiatrist, a Clinical Director with experience treating PTSD, depression and anxiety, a Therapist with experience treating active duty service members and their dependents and a Nurse Manager and House Manager with years of experience in the field of detox and residential care.

Our dual-diagnosis licensure means people with co-occurring mental health disorders such as PTSD, depression and anxiety can get treatment in addition to simply detoxing from prescription drugs. That’s my many people that come to Inland Detox choose to stay for residential treatment for 30, 60 or 90 days.

Program Goals

The goals of the Prescription Drug Detox program are to safely help our clients taper off of prescription drugs of abuse under the care of a medical doctor to avoid painful withdrawals and to help our client’s transition to the residential level of care. Our understanding is that positive outcomes and sobriety are highly correlated with length of stay meaning that a detox program is typically not enough for people with addiction to prescription medications. Continuing care is advisable and many clients that come to us for detox decide to stay for residential care as well.

Program Costs

What’s great about Tricare insurance is that the majority of all of our program costs are covered by Tricare except for incidentals, co-pays and deductibles if applicable. That included the cost of medications less your co-pays. To determine the exact amount of your co-pay costs or deductible expenses, simply call Inland Detox at (888) 739-8296. We can call Tricare and determine your out-of-pocket expenses.

What’s not covered are incidentals like cigarettes, snack food and personal grooming materials.

What to Bring

It’s important to bring a week’s worth of clothing and a light jacket or a fleece. Temecula is very hot in the Summer and mild in the winter. We have laundry facilities on-site so if you choose to stay for the residential program, one week’s worth of clothing should be just fine for you.

You cannot bring opened over-the-counter medications, mind altering substances or grooming products containing alcohol. Of course, illegal drugs, alcohol and weapons are not allowed. If you do bring prescription drugs another medical practitioner has legally prescribed, please note our Medical Director will need to decide what prescriptions you can continue to take while in our care.
